Volcania Assyrtiko

A vibrant and elegant white wine that expresses the full potential of Assyrtiko in the volcanic landscape of Kefalos. Cultivated in the family vineyards of Volcania, this wine reflects the dry thermal climate of the island and the mineral rich character of the land. Harvested by hand at the end of August, the grapes are immediately cooled & carefully vinified under controlled conditions to preserve freshness, purity & precision.

Tasting Notes:

Brilliant lemon-green colour with vivid reflections. The nose reveals delicate aromas of peach, apricot & mango, lifted by subtle hints of jasmine and roasted coffee bean. On the palate, it is structured and textural, balanced by bright natural acidity & a distinctive saline-mineral finish.

Serving Suggestion: Serve at 9 - 11°C

Ideal with shellfish, roasted fish, Asian cuisine, pasta with white sauces & rich cheeses.
